Mia is becoming more and more fun (if that was at all possible). She's starting to smile when you smile at her and we spend lots of time "talking". She likes to hang out on the changing table and chat with Mommy and Daddy. By chat, I mean baby noises, but I'm sure she'll be saying real words very soon! She also loves the butterfly mobile in her crib. It doesn't put her to sleep, but she enjoys looking at it and listening to the music. She's also sleeping well at night; only gets up about once (maybe twice) to eat. What a perfect baby!
Yesterday we took her to San Francisco for the first time. We went to visit Carrie in her new apartment in the Marina. We walked around and had brunch. It was a gorgeous day in the city.

Alright, alright. Here's some more pictures.
It seems a certain set of grandparents can't stand going a few days without photo updates (I'm looking in your direction Gordo and Teri). So, here's the latest that we have (Mia hanging out with dad). Not much, but it fills the "cute" quotient.
The pics are in the main Mia photo album ... so you'll have to scroll down to the bottom to see the most recent ones.

Welcome to the world of onesies!
After 4 weeks, Mia's umbilical cord finally fell off on March 1st. That was a great birthday present, mainly for Mommy and Daddy. I don't think Mia could care less about it.
Over are the days of those annoying t-shirts that ride up all of the time. We can now put Mia in onsies (and we have a ton of them thanks to our wonderful friends and family). Her wardrobe has just exponentially increased and it's very exciting, but probably only for Mommy; Daddy and Mia couldn't care less I bet. If it was up to Daddy, she would wear her Superbaby outfit everyday.

Hi, It's Mommy
I've been busy nurturing our precious little baby so I apologize that I have not made any posts until now. It's really funny how fast the days go by when all we're doing is eating, sleeping, and pooping (Mia does most of the pooping, not me). We had a lot of fun with Grammie & Grampie Bushnell and Grandma Teri & "Grandfather" Gord (that sounds more East Coast than Midwest, Gordon). Auntie (not pronounced Antie) Amy left yesterday so Mia and I hung out all by ourselves today. What were we to do? Well shop, of course. It was a beautiful day in Burlingame (plus Mommy needs to lose 10+ pounds) so it was into the stroller and off to Burlingame Ave. where I only bought one adorable outfit for Mia (since I'm not working now I'm trying to show some restraint).
Later this afternoon, it was off to Dr. Mason's for Mia's one month check-up. She's up to 9 pounds, 14 ounces. I think it's all in her cheeks!
It's really hard to believe that she's one month old already. I used to have a February phobia, but this was the best February of my life. It's been amazing and I love Mia more and more everyday.
Mia's One Month Birthday
Mia turned one month old yesterday. Below is a comparison from the day she was born and her at one month (Crazy). She also lost the rest of her umbilical cord yesterday so she finally has a really belly button. Click for more pics from the day she turned one month old.

Grandma & Grandfather Allen and Auntie Amy come to town
I'm a bit behind on the posts. My mom and day were in town last week as well as Alli's sister. We did much of the same as the last grandparent visit: eat, sleep, Olympics, shop, etc.
Click here to see all the pics from their trip (at least the ones Alli's uploaded so far).
