I've been home with Mia the last 7 days (I took last Thurs and Friday off to spend with the family and Alli went back to work this Monday). We went to our friends house Sunday for Easter dinner (more on that later) but during the week I've just been sitting around all day with her playing Mr. Mom. Mia's been a lot of fun -- she's much more interactive these days. Smiling, playing, talking ... well, baby talk at least. On top of her getting more aware and her vision getting better (see Butterfly post) she's now started trying to grab things. On purpose. While she's been grabbing mom and dad's clothes for a while, she started trying to grab toys and stuff with what seems to be conscious intention over the past week. Her play mat has toys that hang above her that she's been trying to grab and her swing has hanging bears and other toys that she was repeatedly going after today.

Yeah, boooooooooring if you don't have kids or aren't related to Mia ... but my guess is everyone reading this is -- which makes it very exciting for all of us.
